I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

15 Years Ago, 
An Unexpected Pregnancy at the age of 21 wondering where the word would take me. 

From shopping with my best friends and picking out outfits for my little girl, to remembering the night it all got took away from me. 
The words I wouldn’t wish on anyone to hear, the glazed over looks from the doctors, the horrific scream that seemed to radiate from my lungs that I still remember to this day. 

“I’m sorry there’s no heartbeat” 💔

15 years of this journey and it still doesn’t seem real. 

SANDS and the community gave me strength along with my family and friends but in my 21 years of life prior to this I had never even heard about still birth let alone knew what it was. 

This is a subject not enough people talk about this organisation shouldn’t just be heard about when it happens to you or someone you know. 

15 years and time to give back. 💕

Reliving it all will push me through.
