By taking part in this Sands event, you agree to the following:
REGISTRATION
- Children and guests participating in and attending events remain the responsibility of the primary carer at all times.
HEALTH, FITNESS AND SAFETY
- You confirm that you are medically fit and are participating in the event at your own risk. If you are in any doubt, you should seek medical advice from your general practitioner before registering.
- You participate in this event at your own risk and Sands will not be held responsible for any injury or illness resulting from your participation in the event. Sands will, in no way, be liable for any claim which may arise from this event.
SPONSORSHIP MONEY
- You must carry out your fundraising in accordance with the guidance set out ‘Keep It Safe, Keep It Legal’.
- Should you, for whatever reason, choose not to take part in the event, all sponsor forms, sponsor money collected, fundraising materials must be forwarded to Sands and your sponsors will need to be notified. Or donations will be returned to sponsors.
- Only official and approved Sands branded materials are to be used when fundraising unless agreed otherwise.
- The objective is to raise as much sponsorship as possible to maximise the impact you and your supporters can make to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.
- You agree to pay all of the money you have raised to Sands, in accordance with Sands instructions. You may not deduct any costs unless otherwise agreed in advance with Sands.
- No personal bank account should be used to collect funds.
DATA PROTECTION
- You agree that Sands and official third party providers may use, without payment, notice or further consent, any photographs, videos and other images in which you appear which are taken at an event or event-related occasion in future promotional materials.
- By providing your details on the registration platform the charity will contact you by email, SMS, telephone and/or mail about your fundraising and your participation in relation to the Event. For other marketing purposes, we may contact you by email, telephone, mobile telephone or text, but only if we have your permission to do so. We may also send you marketing by post in line with our legitimate interest. Sands will always treat your personal details with the utmost care and will process your information in line with our privacy policy, https://www.sands.org.uk/privacy-and-cookies
- The address you provide will be where packs are sent, and this, along with your name, will be shared with a fulfilment company engaged by Sands.
