Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. In 2019 my twins ZARAH and ZURI were born. Although it was very early when they decided to come into the world they were very welcomed and loved from day 1. After 8 long and exhausting days Zuri earned her beautiful wings and went to rest in the arms of her heavenly Father. ZURI passed by this world briefly but left a huge impression on all of our lives. Zarah forever lives now each day with her earliest memories only from the womb which is the last time they were together. 
Each passing day and year our family continues to remenber our fiesty ZURI who will forever continue to live on in our hearts.
