I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Why Michael is Running

Wednesday 19th Aug

We have never met anyone so strong and admirable as Abbie, Michael will be running for Abbie and others having to go through these heartbreaking times.

Abbie was diagnosed with PPROM at 17 weeks pregnant, She spent the following week in hospital being closely monitored before eventually being discharged home. Unfortunately, she then developed an infection, which triggered labour. On 8th August 2026 at 11:24am, at 18w6d pregnant, Abbie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Throughout the month of Septemeber we are running between 50-100k for SANDS. Please donate if you can 🤍🫶🏼
