2026 Run 50k in September

I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Running 50K in September for Baby Loss Awareness ❤️

Monday 10th Aug

This September, I’m taking on a personal challenge: running 50K throughout the month in memory of babies who have been lost, and in support of all the families who have had to experience the unimaginable pain of baby loss.

Baby loss is something that can be incredibly difficult to talk about, but it affects so many families. Behind every loss is a baby who was loved, wanted and will never be forgotten.

I’m running these 50 kilometres to help raise awareness, to remember the little lives that were taken too soon, and to show support to every parent, family member and loved one who has experienced this kind of loss.

Every kilometre will have a meaning. Some runs will be easy, and some will undoubtedly be emotional and difficult, but knowing that I’m doing this for such an important cause will keep me going.

If you’re able to support me by donating, sharing my fundraising page, or simply sharing this post to help raise awareness, I would be incredibly grateful.

50K in September. Every step in memory of the babies who will never be forgotten. ❤️

For the babies.
For their families.
For awareness.
For remembrance.
