Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’m taking part in this running challenge in April to raise money for Sands, a charity that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby.

I’m running in memory of my own daughter, Violet, who was born sleeping at 20+6 weeks. I’m also running for two very special babies, Ivy and Vienna, the daughters of close friends, who were also born sleeping.

This challenge is my way of remembering them, honouring their lives, and helping support families who experience the heartbreak of losing a baby.
