I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I’m running!
Monday 2nd FebWhilst I haven’t lost myself, I have four wonderful friends that have faced the challenges and heartbreak this brings so I’m running to support them in their grief.
I’m also running because, much like how the pain of baby loss isn’t talked about very much, the fear that having endometriosis and PCOS can bring about fertility and the grief that can cause hurts too, which is something I face every day and equally don’t talk about. I can’t begin to imagine the pain of losing a baby but my heart goes out to everybody facing baby loss or any grief when it comes to creating life.
