I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

Throughout September, a group of us are taking on a 50K running challenge to raise money for Sands, in memory of every much-loved baby who is sadly not here today.

Sands supports families affected by the loss of a baby, providing vital support through some of the most heartbreaking and difficult times imaginable. They also campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and fund research to help prevent future baby deaths.

This challenge is particularly close to our hearts. Our friends, Ella & Rick, sadly lost their beautiful baby girl, Marlee Jean, at 38 weeks. Marlee was born sleeping on 18th June 2026, and we are taking on this challenge in her memory, as well as in memory of all the babies who are so deeply loved and missed.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Sands continue to support families when they need it most.
