I’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Our little raspberry
Thursday 26th MarA few weeks ago, my partner Jason and I experienced a miscarriage.
It’s something that so many people go through, yet it’s still rarely talked about. In a very short space of time, we went from imagining a future with a new little life in it, to suddenly having to process loss and grief together.
There isn’t really a “right” way to deal with something like this. For me, one thing that I feel may help is running.
This April, I’ll be running 30 kilometres in support of Sands, the charity that supports anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. Their work helps families who are navigating heartbreak, offering support, resources, and a community when it’s needed most.
I will be honest completing this challenge won’t be easy, especially the emotional aspect, but it’s something I feel incredibly determined to do. Each kilometre feels like a small step forward and a way to honour the little life that Jason and I lost. Our little raspberry.
If you’re able to support this challenge, I would be hugely grateful. Any donation, big or small, will go towards helping Sands continue the vital support they provide to families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Jason and me over the past few weeks — it truly means more than you know.
If you’re able to donate, share this post, or simply help raise awareness about pregnancy loss, it would mean the world to us.
Thank you for reading and for your support.
