About Sands Champions

Show your commitment and join together with your colleagues to raise the voices of parents and families by joining our award-winning campaign.

This is a unique way for your workplace to come together to create a safe space, raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss, and show support to bereaved colleagues, customers, and the wider baby loss community.

We are proud to stand with Sands and join the growing community of workplaces supporting Baby Loss Awareness Week, helping to break the silence and show our support for bereaved colleagues and families. This is a vital step towards creating compassionate work environments where people feel seen, heard and supported.”

Where your fundraising goes

Sands works to save babies' lives and ensure that, when a baby does die, anyone affected gets the support and care they need. By taking part in Sands Champions this year, the money you raise will allow us to continue to fund life saving research. We will be able to continue to run our Sands Support Services which include the Sands Helpline and our Sands support groups across the UK.

£25 could provide a memory or Muslim care box, giving bereaved parents a treasured place to keep the precious moments they have with their baby.

£40 could fund a one hour Helpline call, providing a parent with someone to turn to when they need it most.

£100 could fund a two hour online support group, connecting families with Sands Bereavement Support Officers and others who truly understand.

£500 could provide a half-day of specialist face-to-face training for midwives, nurses and doctors, to further their knowledge and skills in safer maternity care

Because of you we can continue our mission to be there for anyone affected by baby loss.
