About Starlight Walk
Starlight Walk is a gentle, evening 5k walk where people across the UK come together to remember and honour babies who have died during pregnancy or shortly after birth. Join thousands of others and walk under the stars in memory of a much-loved baby.
Walk side by side while raising vital funds to support families affected by pregnancy and baby loss. By taking part, you’ll help fund essential bereavement care, support services, and research.

Walk beneath the stars and hear from those who take part about what inspires them to step out in memory, in hope, and for every family affected by pregnancy loss and baby loss.
Where your fundraising goes
Sands works to save babies' lives and ensure that, when a baby does die, anyone affected gets the support and care they need. By taking part in Starlight Walk this year, the money you raise will allow us to continue to fund life saving research. We wil be able to continue to run our Sands Support Services which include the Sands Helpline and our person Sands support groups across the UK. What is Starlight Walk?
Starlight Walk is a commemorative walk taking place in multiple location across the UK, where we invite participants to walk under the stars in memory of all the much loved and missed babies gone too soon. You can take part at an event near you, host your own Starlight Walk with your family & friends, or take part virtually at a location of your choice.
