General
What is Starlight Walk?
Starlight Walk is a commemorative walk taking place in multiple location across the UK, where we invite participants to walk under the stars in memory of all the much loved and missed babies gone too soon. You can take part at an event near you, host your own Starlight Walk with your family & friends, or take part virtually at a location of your choice.
Do I have to fundraise?
Whether you choose to fundraise or not, you are helping us to raise vital awareness and break the silence around baby loss. Thank you.
When will my pack arrive?
Packs will be sent out from 1 September. Please allow up to 10 working days for this to arrive.
What will be in my pack?
Your pack will include: a welcome letter, card of dedication (where you can write the name of a loved one who shines brightly forever in your heart), a lantern and tea light.
If you’re taking part in one of our in-person events, please be sure to complete the emergency contact details on the reverse of your card of dedication.
Can I get additional lanterns?
Yes, you can purchase additional packs from our online shop here.
There isn’t a Starlight Walk near me.
If there isn’t a Starlight Walk event happening locally to you, you can either register to host your own or sign up to take part in our virtual Starlight Walk. This way you can walk in a location and on a date that suits you.
How do I set up/join a team?
Once you're registered, you can create a team from within your personal dashboard.
Simply log back into your account, go to your fundraising page and you will see the 'create a team' button. Select this, create your team and share the team name/link with your team members!
To join a team that already exists, head over to a team members fundraising page and click 'Join Us' next to their profile photo.
Why can’t people join my team?
You may not have updated your team settings. If you set up the team, log into your profile and head over to your team page, click 'edit team page' and ensure that 'Yes' is selected under 'Allow anyone to join me team'.
If you would prefer to keep your group private, click 'Team Members' and copy and paste the link there to send your friends & family a private invite link.
How can I organise my own Starlight Walk?
You can register to host your own Starlight Walk with friends and family here. All you need to do is choose a location, route, date and time, then invite your friends & family to take part with you!
