I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
I have recently started running again and found myself struggling with motivation. I decided to take on a distance challenge to spur me on, I have chosen Sands as they are a wonderful charity and if I can raise a few pennies for them in the process then even better!
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
I'll be posting stats from Strava so you can keep track of how I am doing.
