I’m taking on the Sands knitting challenge
Five years ago, I lost my daughter due to a condition that meant she wouldn’t have the life she deserved. Making the decision to let her go was the hardest moment of my life, and the journey since has been filled with grief, healing, and reflection. This year, during Baby Loss Awareness Week, I’m taking part in the Sands knitting challenge by creating a memory blanket to donate into one of their memory boxes—a tribute to my daughter and a gift for another family walking a similar path.
Sands is the stillbirth and neonatal death charity that supports families through the unimaginable loss of a baby. Their work is compassionate, vital, and deeply personal to me. Every donation helps them continue offering care, community, and hope to families who need it most.
Thank you for supporting a cause that means so much.
