I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Turning Grief into Support for Others

Sunday 19th Apr

In Memory of Kenji (22.2.2026)

Some losses  completely change you—and this is one of them.

Kenji is my baby held for a moment but loved for eternity no matter how short his time was, he will always be part of me loved , remembered and cherished.

Words can’t explain how grief hits , when the white rabbit finally catches up and all you have is grief … the future and dreams you hoped for.All I told my friends  was you can’t understand how I’m feeling it’s not the same feeling as any other loss and it’s not right but that’s just the way life goes . It shows up in quiet moments, in memories that never got the chance to be made, and in a love that still exists even though he’s no longer here.

That’s why I’m choosing to fundraise for Sands.

Because what I’ve learned is : No one should grieve alone and the thing about baby loss is it never goes away and I would never stop grieving the time I should have had with my baby.

Sands supports families through the most painful, life-altering moments offering understanding, support, and a space where your grief is seen and held with care. They also work to improve maternity care and fund research, helping to protect other families in the future.

This fundraiser is for Kenji.
To honour him.
To make sure his life, however brief, continues to have meaning and impact.

If you’re able to donate, I would be truly grateful. Every contribution helps support families who are walking this same painful path.

And if you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much.

Thank you for taking a moment to remember Kenji with me.
He is loved. He matters and He  always will.
