I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

one day at a time 💙

Thursday 25th Sep
Words cannot describe the pain you received from the loss of your children. Nothing can really prepare you for it. You got to take one day at a time, in hopes that one day.. just one day, it will get just a little bit easier.

We have recently lost our baby Theo. Not a single day goes by we don't think about him.. this precious little one who arrived but didn't stay. Although he didn't get to stay, he will forever be in our hearts and we will cherish the dreams we had for him 💙

You don't have to have it all together, and you certainly don't need to feel every emotion all at once. Every single day will bring new feelings and challenges.. but this is the nature of grief, and this is the cost of saying goodbye to someone you utterly love.
For those who believed, for those who hoped, for those who prayed that they would have their little ones in their arms but tragically didn't..
I see your pain,
I see your fear,
I recognise your disappointment,
and I acknowledge your heartbreak

While we are too trying to navigate this slowly together, our hearts goes out to those who are currently going through it and those who went through it in the past. It's not easy.. in fact, it's the hardest thing you ever had to do and you're not alone.

In honour of Theo, I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run (well more like a walk) during Baby Loss Awareness Week for every much-loved baby sadly not here today as well as raise money in hopes to support families affected by the loss of their precious little ones.

Both me and Jake would have never thought this would happen to us, but it has. We are so grateful for support we have received so far 🙏

Anything you are able to donate means so much so thank you.. ♥️
