I’m taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜
I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a very loved and much missed baby.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

A Little Knit for Little Miracles
Thursday 2nd Oct I'm not in any fashion a runner, so when I saw a FB post that I could take on a knitting challenge for SANDS, I signed up straight away.I am so fortunate to be Mum to 2 wonderful young adults, after a miscarriage. Following their births I also had an ectopic pregnancy.
I hope the finished blanket can provide some comfort in a time of loss and reassure them that someone is thinking about them and sending gentle hugs.
