I’ve carried life within me six times, but only once have I been able to hold my baby in my arms. The rest are my little stars in the sky, loved and remembered always.
Loss is something so many go through silently, but it leaves a mark that never fades. My journey to motherhood has been filled with both heartbreak and blessing. I am endlessly grateful for the child I hold, and I will forever honour the babies I couldn’t keep.
To anyone walking this path—you are not alone. Our stories matter, our babies matter, and our love for them is everlasting.
I’ve committed to completing 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times.
