2026 Run 50k in September

I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

We’ve smashed 50k! 🎉

Friday 18th Sep

I’m absolutely blown away to have smashed the 50k mark! What started as a fundraising goal has turned into something so much bigger, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared, supported and cheered me on along the way. Every single penny donated is hugely appreciated and will go towards such a fantastic cause. If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it really does make a difference ❤️

Thank you so much for all your support!

My journey

Tuesday 25th Aug

I unfortunately experienced a miscarriage, and one of the hardest parts of that experience was how alone I felt afterwards.

While the physical side of miscarriage is often talked about, the emotional and mental health impact can be just as devastating. I found myself feeling as though there wasn’t enough support or understanding from doctors and hospitals when it came to the emotions, grief and mental health struggles that can follow such a heartbreaking experience.

Miscarriage is not “just something that happens.” It is a loss. It can bring grief, sadness, anger, confusion, guilt, anxiety and so many emotions that are incredibly difficult to put into words. Everyone experiences it differently, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve.

I want every woman who has experienced miscarriage, pregnancy loss or any form of reproductive loss to know this:

You are not alone. ❤️

Your feelings are valid. Your grief matters. You are allowed to take your time, to cry, to feel angry, to struggle, and to ask for help. You do not have to pretend that you are okay just because the world around you has carried on.

Most importantly, please know that there is always someone who will listen. Someone who will sit with you, hear your story, and support you without judgement.

I hope that by speaking openly about my own experience, I can help another woman feel a little less alone. If sharing my story can make even one person feel seen, heard and understood, then it is worth speaking about.

We need to talk more openly about miscarriage and the emotional support that women need alongside their physical care. Women deserve compassion, kindness, understanding and proper support — not just during the physical process, but in the days, weeks and months that follow.

To every woman silently carrying this pain: I see you. I hear you. You matter. Your loss matters. And you do not have to go through it alone. 🤍

Please reach out to someone you trust, and if you need someone to listen, please know that there are people who genuinely want to be there for you.

You are not alone. You are loved. You are heard. And it is okay not to be okay. 🤍
