I’m taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜
This came in to my Facebook pages the day before our beautiful second son, Graeme’s, 30th birthday. What better present than to raise money for families affected, as we were, by the death of a baby they had looked forward to with joy, only for that joy to turn into such sorrow and emptiness. I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a very loved and much missed baby.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
