I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
This year, I’m taking part in a charity run to support Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society). Sands is an incredible charity that provides vital support for anyone affected by the death of a baby and works tirelessly to improve bereavement care and save babies’ lives.
This cause is very close to my heart. Over the years, a number of my friends and relatives have experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage and baby loss. Seeing the pain and grief they’ve gone through has shown me just how important it is to have the right support available.
By running, I want to honor those little lives that ended too soon and help Sands continue their amazing work. Every step I take is in memory of those babies, with love for the families who carry them forever in their hearts.
