I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk to support families affected by the loss of a baby, and to help bring light in the darkest of times.
Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.
By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping Sands continue this vital work—offering hope, understanding and support, and creating a lasting legacy in memory of every baby who has died.
Starlight Walk brings people together under the night sky to remember, reflect and walk in honour of their babies, while raising funds for Sands. If you’d like to take part, you can sign up here:

In loving memory of beautiful Angelo, we are organising Angelo’s Light Shines On, a special lantern walk in support of Sands, the baby loss charity.
Angelo’s life will forever be a part of Alice, Michael, Massimo and Sol’s story, and the love they have for him will never fade. He is loved so deeply by his family and by everyone whose lives he has touched. His light will shine forever, and together we want to honour his memory by doing something meaningful to help other families who have experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby.
We will come together at dusk, carrying our lanterns and remembering the precious little lives that have left the biggest imprints on our hearts. Every light will represent a baby who is loved beyond words, missed every day and will never, ever be forgotten.
Sands provides vital support to bereaved families and works to improve care and prevent future baby deaths. We hope that by raising money in Angelo’s memory, we can help ensure that other families receive the compassion, understanding and support they deserve during the darkest of times.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference. Whether you donate, join us on our walk or share our fundraiser, we are so grateful for your support.
This walk is for Angelo, for all the babies gone too soon, and for the families who carry their love and loss with them every single day. It is a chance for us all to come together, show our love and remind bereaved families that they are not alone.
