I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. I was definitely one of the lucky ones! Although, we was told when having our third and final baby that the chances of her surviving was extremely low and it was a high possibility she would pass away whilst I was carrying her and I would have to deliver her! This was the most unimaginable thing to try to process. How would I do that? We spent 8 gruelling months worrying and not knowing the outcome for our baby. However, our story had a happy ending, she did survive! 
However, two of our children haven't been that lucky and have had the heartbreak of losing their babies before they ever got to meet them or hold them and have the pleasure of watching them grow. 
I'm doing this for them!  And for my beautiful little grand babies that I never got to meet but think about all the time. 
That's my story and the reason I am doing this sponsored swim!
