I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you for stumbling across my donation page. 

Back in February 2025 I lost my baby in early pregnancy. It's an absolutely heartbreaking experience, and I am still mentally recovering from the loss, the symptoms I felt I don't think I will ever truly get over. However, Sands is a phenomenal charity who provide, caring, compassionate help in the lowest of times. 

On a personal level, I have had a real hard time lately, and I wish to help myself mentally, challenge myself with something, get me outdoors and striving towards a goal. 

I'm not your every day runner, I think I last ran couch to 5k years ago but I know I thoroughly enjoyed the process and believe I will enjoy this one too. 

I know everyone is struggling right now, but I really appreciate any donation towards this amazing charity and spurring me on from the sidelines will help me so much to complete this mission. And I really appreciate it.
