I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
Tomorrow (Saturday 10th October) I’m running a 10k for Sands — wish me luck! 🫣🏃♀️💗
This will be my third year running the Ribbon Run, as on 10th August 2024, we had to terminate our very much wanted pregnancy after our baby was diagnosed with Edwards syndrome and a severe heart defect. It was the hardest decision of our lives. I first signed up for this run while I was in hospital, and it has now become my little yearly tradition. Three years running… literally! 🏃♀️😂
I feel it is important to talk about it so that if there is one other person out there that is going through something similar, they can know they are not the only one.
Alongside this, we’ve also experienced multiple miscarriages. I want to help raise awareness, to let women know they are not alone and to help raise some pennies to help provide more support. 💗

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
