I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Another 3km down bringing my total to 43/50km. One last big run to finish!

4km in the heat!

A lovely day with company to help get across the line. 40/50km done, 10 to go!

Yesterday another 9km complete

After yesterdays walk with Hunter, I am now on a total of 36/50km. 14 to go!

A tough but rewarding run with Hunter in the pram.

A lovely fast walk with Hunter & of course a few stops for snacks, dog pets and looking at the ducks!

5km on the bank holiday!

Monday 4th May

Today I ran 5km while my husband and eldest son went for the scenic walk. We met on my return and had a lovely family day!

First run complete, 4k down 46 to go!

I have decided to run the 50k in May in memory of our beautiful CJ, who was born sleeping on 29.01.26. There are no words to describe the pain and heartache we live as a family each day but I want to ensure that help can continue to be available for families.
