I’m taking on the Sands knitting challenge

I’ve committed to crocheting a blanket to support those who have lost a baby.

I am very blessed to have not experienced this and as a mother of 3 who nearly lost my middle child when she was two weeks old, I can imagine the heartbreak the parents experience when this happens.

So even though its a small gesture I want to help give back.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
