I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

Tomorrow morning I’ll be putting on my trainers and starting a challenge that means a lot to me — running 50K throughout September to raise money for Sands, the Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Charity. 🏃‍♀️

As a midwife, I’ve seen first-hand just how devastating the loss of a baby can be. There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak that families experience when the future they imagined with their baby suddenly changes forever.

I’ve also seen the incredible importance of having the right support around families during those darkest moments. Sands is there for families when they need it most — offering support, understanding and a safe place for people who are grieving the loss of their baby. 🩷

So, throughout September, I’m going to be getting out there and clocking up 50K, one run at a time. 

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every single donation can help Sands continue to support bereaved families and make sure that nobody has to face baby loss alone.
