I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

Chris & I have committed to walking 100km this September, in memory of our two beautiful babies, Harlow & Noah, and for every much-loved baby who is sadly not here today. 🤍

Harlow was born sleeping at 16 weeks and 4 days in April 2025, and Noah at 17 weeks and 5 days in December 2025. Two babies who were so deeply loved, so wanted, and who will forever be a part of our family.

Losing a baby changes you in ways that are impossible to put into words. There is a lifetime of love for children you never got to bring home, grief that doesn’t simply disappear with time and constantly wondering what life would’ve been like with them here. In the midst of that grief, having support from people who understand can mean more than words can say.

That’s why we’ve chosen to raise money for Sands. They ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve during some of the toughest times imaginable. They also campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research to help reduce the number of babies who are born sleeping and, ultimately, the number of families who have to experience this devastating loss.

Taking on 100km is our way of honouring Harlow and Noah, keeping their memories close, and helping Sands continue to be there for other families when they need them most.

Every kilometre will be for them, and every step will carry a little piece of their memory with us. 🤍
