I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I honestly can’t believe it!! We’ve already hit my original £200 fundraising target for SANDS! 🥹🫶🏻 Thank you so so much to everyone who has donated, shared my fundraiser and supported me. It genuinely means more than you know. ❤️ So, for September, when I start my challenge I’ve decided to raise the target to £400 and see how much more we can raise together! 🕊️ Thank you for helping me turn something so heartbreaking into something positive. 🤍 Here’s to the next £200! 💪🏻❤️ #Run50kforSands

50k For SANDS🤍

After everything myself & my partner have been through with baby loss, I’ve decided to do something that is going to push me both physically and emotionally.

Starting from September 1st I’m going to run 50K to raise money for SANDS, a charity that means so much to us and to so many families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby.

The last year has been one of the hardest chapters of our lives. We experienced losses that have changed us in ways I never imagined, and although it’s something we will always carry with us, I want to try and turn some of that heartbreak into something positive.

So, I’m setting myself the challenge of running 50K and hopefully raising over £200 for SANDS along the way. 🕊️

I know 50K is going to be a huge challenge for me, but having a reason behind every kilometre will hopefully keep me going when it gets difficult. Every step will be for the babies who are so desperately missed, and for the families who have had to experience a kind of pain that no one should ever have to know.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this post, following along with my challenge or sending me a little bit of encouragement would mean just as much. 🤍
