I am walking 100K in honour throughout September to raise money to support bereaved families
Last year myself, my wife, Alex and our Dear Friend Julia walked 100K through December for SANDS UK with our baby daughter Raven, in memory of Julia’s son Ishana who was born sleeping.
We raised a lot of money for bereaved families who have suffered child loss, we got our steps in daily in all weather, it brought our friendships closer & it was a healing experience for Julia to have the support of us and to bond more with Raven (who ADORES Julia).
We enjoyed our walks so much, and felt a sense of pride, so we are doing it again this year.
Raven is now 15 months old, and as each year goes by we are making it a tradition for her to join us as we raise money in honour of Ishana, the friend she didn’t get to meet, but who is with us each step of the way.
