Matthew's running 100km this September to support bereaved families.
In 2021, Matthew and I suffered the devastating loss of our first baby due to pregnancy complications. During that heartbreaking time, Sands and the bereavement midwives provided us with invaluable help and support.
To raise vital funds for Sands and honor every much loved baby who isn't here today, Matthew is running 100km throughout September.
Sands works tirelessly to ensure that anyone affected by the loss of a baby receives the vital support they need during the toughest moments imaginable. They campaign for systemic change, train midwives and healthcare professionals, and fund crucial research so that fewer families have to experience this tragedy.
