I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I know I’ve been here before, sharing my fundraising page with you all so forgive me if it feels repetitive sharing something like this again. In June, I had another miscarriage, which was not only heartbreaking and painful but made me feel like I’ve gone backwards in my grief over losing Ava last November.
I have signed up to run 50k in September for Sands, the baby loss charity, because if I’m honest, I am struggling and just feel I need to do something with a purpose and something to focus my mind on.
Life goes on after baby loss and miscarriage but for me it’s changed me in ways I could never have imagined. Running and exercise have been so important in my grieving/healing journey so if I can raise some money for such a special charity by running 50k this month then that would be amazing.
Ava is such a huge part of who I am now and I will forever remember her and do as much as I can in her memory.
