I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Turning Loss Into Hope
Sunday 20th SepMiscarriage is far more common than many people realise, yet the grief that follows is often carried in silence.
Pregnancy loss can be physically painful, emotionally devastating and deeply isolating. And importantly, in most cases, it is not caused by something a woman did or didn’t do.
I’m fundraising to help raise awareness and support for women and families experiencing miscarriage because no one should have to grieve their baby feeling alone, ashamed or forgotten.
Every donation, no matter the size, can help provide support, information and a voice for pregnancy-loss awareness. 🤍
Thank you for helping me turn something painful into something that can help others.
For the little lives that deserve to be remembered. 🤍
Sunday 30th AugI’m taking on this run to raise money and awareness for families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.
Baby loss is something that can be incredibly difficult to talk about. Behind every statistic is a family, a story and a little life that mattered. Organisations supporting bereaved parents provide a place to turn to at a time when people can feel completely lost and alone.
I wanted to do something small but meaningful to show my support - so I’m getting back into running and using it to raise funds for this important cause.
This is only my second run in two years, so the 7km, hills and 61m of elevation definitely made it a challenge! 🏃♀️⛰️
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I’d be incredibly grateful.
And if you can’t donate, simply sharing the page can help more people see the cause.
