I’m running 50k in May for families like mine facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday 25th May
A massive thank you to everyone who has donated to Sands, reached out or interacted with me on this challenge so far, it means everything to me. 

The last week and a half has been incredibly rough with my first period since our loss, complicated by new medical challenges and uncertainties that have meant I cannot go back on HRT just yet. This has resulted in deeper sadness but also heart palpitations, acid reflux, anxiety that made me think I could be dying, migraines, joint pain, poor sleep and more. 

I’ve dragged my ass to work and continued to engage with my interests such as Toastmasters, painting and writing my philosophy book. To those who wish to comfort me or offer advice, I have plenty of other projects and interests but they are like the cherry on the top without the ice cream, believe me, I am putting in my complaints in to speak to the manager! 😆
