I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

For Zachary and my two angel babies

I’m making this change and turning something incredibly painful into something positive, in memory of our beautiful boy, Zachary, who was born sleeping at 23 weeks and 3 days, and in honour of my two earlier miscarriages. 🤍

This September, I’ll be running 50K to raise money for SANDS, supporting bereaved families who are navigating the unimaginable pain of losing a baby.

This challenge feels especially significant because this month was meant to be Zachary’s due date. Instead of celebrating his arrival, we are carrying his memory every year with us and finding a way to honour the beautiful life that was so deeply loved, even if it was far too short.

Everyone expects you to be okay and, eventually, to move on. But there are no words to truly explain how hard this journey has been, how hard it still is, and how it always will be. Grief doesn’t have an expiry date, and the love for your baby never disappears.

So, I’m turning my pain into something positive. I’m raising money for an amazing charity that supports families through some of the darkest days of their lives.

Please help me honour Zachary, my two little ones lost through miscarriage, and all the beautiful babies and families who have had to experience this unimaginable pain and loss.
