Running 50K in September For Families Facing Baby Loss
I’m running 50K in September for every parent whose baby is no longer here today.
I’m a dad to a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, and every day with them is something I don’t take for granted.
It’s because of that, that I can’t stop thinking about the parents who don’t get to watch their kids grow up. I can’t imagine the pain and grief of losing a child, and I want to help raise money to support those parents who are facing this.
Sands supports anyone affected by the loss of a baby by funding research to help more babies survive, and train midwives and healthcare professionals to give families better care when it matters most.

Milestone 1 Complete
Sunday 6th Sep We hit the first milestone of £100, and we’re at £128 so far.That’s enough to fund 5 memory boxes for parents who’ve lost their baby which can help them through the worst time imaginable.
The next target is £200. So £72 to go, and when we hit £200, I’ll add another milestone challenge.
For the £100 milestone challenge, it’s really simple…
I will ADD 1K to my total distance for September for EACH donation that got us to the £100.
So that’s 7 donations, taking my total distance due for September to 57 (instead of the original 50).
