I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

2 days down, just over 4km done!
Wednesday 2nd SepSeptember is here, which means my 50km running challenge for SANDS has officially begun!
Two days in and I’ve completed two runs, totalling just over 4km. It was hard — I’m definitely not a runner, and my body is already wondering what on earth I’m doing!
But I’m determined to keep going. I’m doing this to raise money for SANDS, an amazing charity that supports families affected by pregnancy and baby loss, and knowing that every kilometre is helping raise awareness and money for such an important cause is keeping me motivated.
I also want to accomplish something that, if I’m honest, I never thought I could do. Running 50km in a month feels like a huge challenge for me, but I’m taking it one run at a time and reminding myself that I don’t have to be a runner to give it a go.
Just over 4km down… 46km to go! 🏃♀️💙
Thank you so much to everyone for the support 🫶🏻
Please help this incredible charity
Saturday 15th AugThis September, I’m taking on a challenge that is completely outside my comfort zone — running 50km over the course of the month for Sands.
I’ve never run before, so this will definitely be a challenge, but it’s one that feels incredibly worthwhile.
Sands provides vital support to parents and families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby. Sadly, I know people who have been affected by this kind of loss, and I’ve seen how important support and understanding can be during such an unimaginably difficult time.
I’d love to raise as much as I can to help Sands continue supporting bereaved parents and families when they need it most.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate, sharing my challenge would mean just as much. ❤️
50km, one very inexperienced runner, and a cause that means a lot. Let’s do this! 🏃♀️❤️

Go girl 😘
