For Pippa, With Love

On 7th April 2026, our beautiful Pippa was born sleeping at 37 weeks and 5 days. We went into hospital expecting to bring our baby girl home. Instead, our whole world changed.

There really aren’t words for what it is like to leave hospital without your baby. To come home to everything you had prepared for them. To somehow carry on with a life that was supposed to look completely different.

Pippa should be here.

We can't change what happened to our little girl, but we can make sure her name continues to be spoken.

So this September, we are putting one foot in front of the other for her.

We've called our team For Pippa, With Love, because ultimately, every step will be with enormous amount of love for our daughter.

We’ll be walking to raise money for Sands, helping them continue their work supporting families whose babies have died, as well as working to improve maternity care and help save babies' lives.

It's a charity we never imagined we would need to know.

Now, we know just how important that support is.

Every step we take this September will carry Pippa with us.

For our beautiful daughter.

For the little sister who should be here.

For every family who has had to leave hospital with empty arms.

And because being Pippa's mum and dad didn't end when we lost her.

We will carry her, love her and say her name for the rest of our lives.
