I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why have I decided to take part?

In February 2024 my partner and I sadly lost our little boy, Noah at 22.5 weeks.  At the time we didnt know anyone else who had went through a similar experience or knew about Sands.  If we had it may have made it a little bit easier to navigate our way through the grief and heartache of this experience.  By chance I stumbled across this charity on Facebook last month and looked into some of the things that they do.  So, in honour of baby Noah and to spread awareness of this wonderful charity, I have decided to dust off my running shoes and take part in the '50k throughout September' challenge.
