I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Baby loss through embryo transfer

Tuesday 1st Sep
3 years ago we went through genetic IVF. Treatment had lasted longer than my other 2 treatments which where successfull 1st time each round and blessed us with a boy and girl.
With my 3rd treatment medication wasn't doing its job properly and I had to go through an operation to get cancer cells removed as the medication had affected my womb. When things started to go right we were then able to go forward with our treatment and a had embryo transfer done with a healthy baby boy which was unsuccessful. Our hearts were broken for our loss and what should have been. Since then we've had another successful transfer  been blessed with another beautiful baby girl but our heart still aches for our baby boy 🩵
