I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday morning blues
Monday 12th Jan
I haven’t been out yet today, but I already know it’s going to be tough. The cold, rain and gloom make it far too easy to put it off and stay warm indoors. And my foot hurts!
Still, the reason behind this challenge keeps me going. Getting out for my 2k a day is about more than running - it’s about supporting SANDS and the families who rely on them during incredibly difficult times. That makes every uncomfortable step worth it.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support, donate, and encourage this journey. I’ll get out there - 2k for SANDS 💙🏃♀️
