I’m taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜
In memory of my great nephew, Oliver, who was born sleeping on 2nd December 2025, I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a very loved and much missed baby.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Sunday 29th Mar After a couple of setbacks, I had the lurgy and it’s hard to knit when you’re constantly blowing your nose plus I made a mistake and had to unravel quite a few rows 😩( #IYKYK ) But back on track now with the lace border growing nicely.
