I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday 10th AugThis September, I’m taking on the challenge of running 50K to raise money for bereaved families who have lost their babies.
Some people may not know that before the birth of our son, my now wife and I suffered five miscarriages.
Each loss brought an unimaginable amount of pain. The excitement and hope of expecting a baby would be replaced by heartbreak, grief and the difficult process of trying to carry on while feeling like a part of us was missing.
When our son was finally born, we were incredibly grateful, but our experiences have never left us. They made us realise just how many families go through this devastating experience, often feeling alone in their grief.
That’s why I’m running.
I want to give something back to families going through what we experienced, while also supporting work that could help prevent other families from suffering the same heartbreak in the future.
Every kilometre will be for those families, and for the babies who will never be forgotten.
