I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Sunday 31st MayMay is over, and I’m so proud to say I completed my 50k challenge for Sands.
As someone who definitely wouldn’t call themselves a runner, this wasn’t always easy. Finding the time and motivation around being a mum, working shifts, and everyday life was challenging at times, but I kept going because this charity holds a very special place in our hearts.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me throughout the month, whether you donated, shared my fundraising page, cheered me on, or simply asked how I was getting on. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity made such a difference.
Most importantly, thank you for helping me raise awareness and funds for Sands and the incredible work they do supporting families affected by pregnancy loss and the death of a baby.
