I am taking part in Sands Run 50k in September in memory of our little one, Ali. We recently lost our beautiful baby girl after my waters broke before I was full term (PPROM). Not much could be done, the odds were against us and Ali was sadly born sleeping just two days later.
Sands, the Stillborn and Neonatal Death charity, operates across the UK. Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. All donations will be going to such an important cause that is close to our hearts.
