I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

This September, my sister Georgina and I Jasmine are taking on a 100,000-step walk as a team called Forever in Our Hearts, in memory of babies gone too soon and in support of the baby loss community.
This walk is incredibly personal to us. We are walking in memory of the two precious babies I have lost. Although their time with us was far too short, they will always be our babies, and they will always have a place in our hearts. ❤️
We are also walking in memory of my dear Uncle Matthew, who sadly passed away as a baby. Even though we never had the chance to know him, he is still a part of our family and his memory deserves to be carried forward.
Every step we take will be for the little lives that were taken too soon, for the families who have had to experience the unimaginable pain of baby loss, and for the babies who will never be forgotten.

We know that no amount of walking can take away the heartbreak of losing a baby, but we hope that by doing this, we can raise awareness, show support and remind families that they are not alone.
To two precious babies, and to Uncle Matthew — you may not be here in our arms, but you will forever be in our hearts. 🦋❤️
