I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

So the reason why I’m doing this…

In August 2025 I experienced a missed miscarriage. It was the most traumatic event me and my husband had been through.

After being told our baby stopped growing at 7 weeks with no heartbeat and my body not responding naturally, i was still showing pregnancy signs until 12 weeks. After emergency surgery, and waking up with nothing but tears was soul destroying.

With having no follow up or support from healthcare professionals was what shocked me the most. We were very lucky to have such supportive family and friends.
