I’m taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜
I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a very loved and much missed baby.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Knitting challenge - What it means to me
Tuesday 2nd Dec The knitting challenge is something definitely different than other fund raising challenges I've previously undertaken. Normally the challenges are physically challenging. This time I have approached the fund raising through creating something that will be used for a very personal & emotional time. Using crafting skills of knitting is the challenge for me to create a blanket that will be part of a memory box given to parents that are grieving the loss of a baby.Thank you to my Sponsors
