I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I lost my second baby last summer and what made a devistating situation a bit better was the support I received from friends and family but also in hospital - I received a memory box which I could put things like our first baby scan in, and a bag of useful and thoughtful things like toiletries and a teddy bear, which really made a huge difference to my mental health at the time as I felt like what I was going through was understood.
This experience was so different to my first miscarraige where I didn't receive anything in hospital and I felt like I couldn't really talk about my experience and had no after care or support.
I feel really strongly about supporting sands and also cradle charities as their work means so much for those of us going through baby loss.
